Hi, I’m Gabriel Galeano your local owner and operator of New York City’s guardNOW.  I opened the first guardNOW franchise in New York City metro area in December 2011.  I started my security company by servicing the Midtown North and Midtown South areas of Manhattan, a main tourist attraction magnet encompassing many restaurants, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, the Theater District, and then expanding along the west side and southcovering the areas of Chelsea, West Village, Greenwich, Meat Market District, Tribeca, SoHo, and the Financial District to name a few.

Before introducing guardNow’s security services to the Metro New York area I spent over 30 years with the New York City Police Department , various security companies and the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department holding the positions of correction officer, detective and patrolman, where I was trained in firearms, tactical training, incident management, criminal investigations and a variety of other law enforcement and security areas that are essential to running a successful guardNOW Franchise.

I am dedicated to making sure all my clients and their  properties are secured by using only certified  professional security officers with high standards, the majority being active or retired law enforcement officers, while deploying highly visible vehicles as an effective and cost efficient option to deter crime, mischief, and to generally secure properties like yours.
